| June 30, 2005 | | Congratulations, Bill, on an excellent book (and an excellent example of a secure blogsite and secure RSS feeds in action)! |  Yesterday, I noticed that Effective C#—50 Specific Ways to Improve Your C# had hit the top of Amazon's best seller list for Programming Languages & Tools. Congratulation Bill, that's a great accomplishment—and well deserved.
Here at MyST, we're excited to have been a part of the process because Bill used a secure MyST blogsite to publish early drafts of each item in his book for reviews. Reviewers subscribed to new book items via secure RSS. Similarly, Bill subscribed to reviewer comments via secure RSS. The process was much more efficient and shortened the cycle between drafts of the book. Bill has opened parts of the site for the public, so you can see parts of the book in online format. | | |
